Volunteer with English Language Programs
Volunteers are an important part of ELP Foundations! We have a range of volunteer opportunities for community members, students, and alumni.
For Community Members: Get involved with the Community Council for International Students (CCIS), who host events and programs for international students each fall and throughout the academic year. Visit the CCIS page for more information.
For ISI/ELP Foundations Alumni: Contact us about participating as an online peer mentor for our online summer course, for ELP Foundations September events, or in our EDGE program during the academic year at elp@northwestern.edu.
For Current Graduate Students: If you are a current graduate student interested supporting and welcoming your international student colleagues and developing your leadership skills in international education, we have both funded and volunteer opportunities available in our orientation programs throughout the academic year. Selection for funded positions is competitive and based on current program needs and service levels. Please contact us to learn more!
